This is a big book from spanning two cognitive streams. One is from a series of visits in 2002, 2004, 2009, 2017 and 2019. The other thread is a series of letters from my mother, Marilyn Owings Zelada, on her arrival in El Salvador in 1948 to her death in 1951.

 

The images chronicle travel by bicycle, bus, taxi, hiking all across El Salvador.
